As mentioned in my last post, I am in the throes of withdrawal as I am unable to use my craft room and all the goodies therein at the moment.
Undaunted by this I have decided to enter the current Spectrum Noir ‘Orange’ Challenge (my Spectrum Noir pens are about the only craft item I have available to me at the moment).
The image is a gorgeous digi-stamp from Wee Stamps ‘Hazel’, designed by the talented Sylvia Zet.
Hazel looks rather a shy witch, so I wanted to use the more subtle oranges within the ‘GB’ range of Spectrum Noir colours, rather than the zesty ‘OR’ pens.
I had purchased the image some time ago and it was on my laptop, so I printed it onto Neenah card and used the following Spectrum Noir colours to produce the finished image you see below:
Over dress & hat: GB4, GB7 & GB9
Under dress and hat strap: BGR2, BGR3, BGR4 & BGR5
Hair: BGR1, BGR3, BGR4 & True Black
Face: TN1, TN2 & TN4
Broom: GB10 & GB11
Other: JG1, JG4, JG6 & Blender
Unfortunately, I have been unable to make up the completed Halloween card, but hopefully this topper will still qualify for the Spectrum Noir Challenge – it has certainly been fun seeing what I can produce with my current limited resources.
